Recycling is Collected Alongside Regular Trash 5 Nights per Week.
Recycling Instructions
Place cleaned recyclables in blue recycling bags. (Blue Recycling bags can be found at any major retailer.)
Please tie all of your bags and place them outside between 6pm and 8pm in your approved Lavigne Clean container. Recyclables and trash bags will be placed in one container.
Recycling and trash collection will start after 8pm every Sunday – Thursday.

- Paper Bags
- Phone Books
- Wrapping Paper
- Envelopes (with and/or without windows)
- Catalogs and Magazines
- Cardboard
- Milk and Juice Cartons
Plastic
- All plastic containers with recycling symbols labeled #1 – #7
- Plastic bottles, cups, jars, tubs, etc…
Metal
- Aluminum Drink Cans
- Steel or Tin Food Cans
- Empty Aerosol Cans
- Aluminum Foil
Not Accepted
Non-Recyclables
- Garbage
- Food Scraps
- Electronics (TVs, Computers, Etc…)
- Clothes
- Clothes Hangers
- Yard or Plant Debris
- Light Bulbs
- Batteries
- Pharmaceuticals or Medicine
- Plastic Bags
- Propane Tanks
- Styrofoam Cups
- Packing Peanuts
- Hazardous Items
- Soiled Pizza Boxes
Please do not place any of the items listed above in communal recycling containers or in your household recycling bags. Mixing any of the above listed material or any contaminated container in with your recyclables will render everything non-recyclable.
*All recyclables must be cleaned and all recyclables and trash must fit in bags in your approved Lavigne Clean container. If your bags are not in your designated can, they will not be picked up. **Not Complying to rules can lead to additional fees.
